This Diablo Cojuelo or Limping Devil Mask is used in the celebration of the Dominican Carnaval celebrated every year in February. The maskes are usualy made of paper mache by hand and are always bright and colorful. The Diablos Cojuelos parade the streets with hard ballons and whips and punish the onlookers that get too close or are too slow to outrun them! This tattoo was done using some of the best quality inks on the market for tattooing to achieve the rich color satutration.
